Norwalk River Rowing
Association is a true community club, the only prerequisite to
joining is a desire to want to row and enjoy the outdoors. There
are no interviews, membership committees, black balls or one-time
joining fees.
If you'd like to try us out,
and you have some experience (no matter how long ago), come to an
Open Row on either Saturday or Sunday morning and go for a row.
If you have no experience, come to one of our Open House Rows on
Saturday mornings or sign up for a
Learn To Row class.
All of our members have
different reasons for rowing. Here are some examples of
typical memberships:

NRRA also offers organized
coached sessions throughout the year. Programs are open to members
and non-members alike, though members receive a reduced cost.
Non-member program participants only have access to the
equipment/facilities during program hours.
Both the Racing Team and the Intermediate Team
are quarterly programs with coaching and the same fees.
NRRA can provide private
boat storage for all sizes. Boats can be stored inside our tents
out of the weather or outdoors on racks. Outdoor storage gets a 50%
discount. Once our new boathouse is completed, outdoor storage will
not be an option. Storage fees can also be paid
