River Explorers (only sessions III and V)
This summer the NRRA will introduce students to rowing and the ecosystems found in and
around the Norwalk River and Long Island Sound with hands-on science
lessons and weekly field trips to the Norwalk Aquarium.
Athletes practice 4 days a week for 2
weeks in 3 hour sessions
Learn the basics of rowing
Do
experiments and build projects about the Norwalk River and Long Island
Sound!

Matthew Zucker Memorial Fund
Scholarships are available for all of NRRA’s youth programs through the Matthew
Zucker Memorial Fund. Scholarships
are awarded on rolling basis throughout the year. An interview with the athlete
and a parent is required before the start of the program. It is expected
that scholarship applicants contribute something towards the program. Call our Outreach Director with any questions.
