Winter is a great time to develope individual fitness, core strength, and technique as well as build camaraderie with your teammates. Strength training, rowing and cross-training are just a few of the methods used to increase your potential as an oarsman/woman.

If you are new to rowing, the winter is a great time to join! Gain fitness and be better prepared for the outdoor Spring season!

Racing Team 2011-2012 Winter Program

Matthew Zucker Memorial Fund

Scholarships are available for all of NRRA’s youth programs through the Matthew Zucker Memorial Fund.  Scholarships are awarded on rolling basis throughout the year.  An interview with the athlete and a parent is required before the start of the program.  It is expected that scholarship applicants contribute something towards the program.  Call our Outreach Director with any questions.
